At Gomo Inc. (“Gomo,” “we,” and “us”), we want to be upfront about the information we collect, how we use it, whom we share it with, and the choices we give our users (“you”) about such uses and disclosures. We have developed this Privacy Policy to demonstrate our commitment to protecting your privacy and encourage you to read our Privacy Policy carefully when using our website, application or other online services (our “Service”).

By using our Service, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you have any questions about our privacy practices, please contact us using the information at the end of this Privacy Policy.

When you use our Service, we may collect personal information about you. By providing personal information to us, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of personal information as permitted by applicable privacy laws. By using the Service, you are authorizing us to gather, parse and retain data related to the provision of the Service. When you provide personal information through our Service, the information may be sent to servers located in the United States and countries around the world.

Information you provide

When you register as a user with Gomo, you will be asked to sign in using your Facebook login. If you do so, you authorize us to access certain Facebook account information, such as your public Facebook profile (consistent with your privacy settings in Facebook), your name, email address, age, gender, profile photo, friend list, and information about your Facebook friends who are Gomo users. You will also be asked to allow Gomo to collect information from your device when you download or use the Service. Information from your device may include your location, information from your phone contacts, and images from your device’s camera and photos. In addition, we may collect and store any personal information you provide while using our Service or in some other manner. This may include identifying information, such as your name, date of birth, email address, telephone number, and, if you create a Gomo account using your email address, the password associated with your Gomo account. When you interact with content on Gomo, we collect information regarding your interactions with that content, which may include your interest in that content, the time and date you viewed that content, associated links you may open, and the metadata generated by your interactions with that content. If you interact with other Gomo users on our Service, you provide us with information about those interactions, such as who you are friends with on Gomo, the group chats you are included in, and the content of your chats. If you contact us with a customer service or other inquiry, you provide us with the content of that communication. We also collect content you create on our Service, including activity photos and descriptions, and information about the content you create, such as if other users have viewed the content and the metadata that is generated by the content.

Ad companies also use device IDs or Advertising IDs to track your use of the app, track the number of ads displayed, measure ad performance and display ads that are more relevant to you. Analytics companies use device IDs to track information about app usage.

We take security measures to protect the information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, no system can be completely secure. Therefore, although we take steps to secure your information, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personal information, chats, or other communications will always remain secure.
